Two children are born in the same village at the same time. One child is born as the son of the wealthy Lord Kim's family, while the other child, not even knowing who his father is, is born in a mud hut as the son of a poor woman named Maksun. However, the mother of Lord Kim's family ends up dying after giving birth to the child. Lord Kim brings Maksun, who also gave birth on the same day to have the child breastfed. For her son's well-being, Maksun secretly switches the child with her own. Thus, Maksun's son gets raised by Lord Kim's family with the name Gwidong, and the real child of Lord Kim's family grows up with the name Chundoong. However, thanks to a twist of fate, Gwidong and Chundoong become friends and love the same girl named Dongnyeo.

She loved Ju Mong for her life as well, but she couldn\u2019t become his wife. However, she managed to become the wise helper who supported Ju Mong to become the leader. Ju Mong overcomes all the ordeal and hardship, take the land of Gojoseon, and establishes a new country, Goguryeo.

Han Eok Kwan, an orphan and a gangster, lives off of gambling and taking money from merchants. One day, he takes in Jae Soo, the son of a woman he had lived with in the past, and becomes a father. When Eok Kwan is about to give up his life, he meets Hye Rim, the mother of Soo Ah and Kyung Ho. Eok Kwan and Hye Rim marry, but she dies shortly after. Soo Ah grows to resent Eok Kwan after her mother's death. Kyung Ho has also had a troubled youth. Jae Soo ends up in prison for his love for Soo Ah and his guilt over Kyung Ho. Eok Kwan lives with them as their father in a twisted family relationship.

The memory cells of the aborted child M merge with Ma Ri and stop the abortion through psychokinetic powers. Ma Ri earns the ability to predict future events in advance after her big sister's suicide. M awakes when Ma Ri is in danger and protects her from threats such as rape. Ma Ri becomes a doctor named Ju Ri, losing all of her memory as Ma Ri. M coexists with Ju Ri in a half-dormant form. M and Ma Ri use their supernatural powers as an aborted child and almost aborted child. How will their secrets unfold?
