Synopsis
He Zheng (Dai Gao Zheng) has always harbored a deep love for his stepsister, He An Ran (Yu Yi Yao). However, after He Zheng witnessed his mother's imprisonment and death by the hand of An Ran's father, he vanishes without a word. In the process, he left behind Mo Yu Tang (Guan Yue), a younger boy he befriended and swore to protect. Five years later, He Zheng returns – but he has now adopted the name He Lian Zheng and become a powerful warlord, capturing his stepfather and forcing An Ran to marry him. He also reunites with Yu Tang, but the reunion is not a happy one: after Lian Zheng's disappearance, Yu Tang lost the ability to walk, fueling anger toward his former friend. Is there any future in store for these three that doesn't end in bloody revenge?
