Seohyun is the stage name of Seo Ju Hyun, a South Korean singer and actress. Born on June 28, 1991, she was discovered by a talent scout on a subway train when she was in fifth grade. She debuted in 2007 as a member of Girls’ Generation, one of the most popular K-pop girl groups in the world, and also is a part of the subgroup TTS. Seohyun branched into acting in 2013 with a small role in the television drama “Passionate Love.” She has since appeared in the popular dramas “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo” (2016), “Ruby Ruby Love” (2017) and “Bad Thief, Good Thief” (2017).

Taecyeon, also known as Ok Taecyeon, is a South Korean singer and actor who is best known for being the main rapper for the K-pop boy group 2PM. Born on December 27, 1988, as Ok Taek Yeon, he immigrated with his family when he was 10 years old to Bedford, Massachusetts. He lived in Massachusetts for 7 years and attended Bedford High School before moving to Seoul while he was still in high school to pursue a career in the arts.

Taecyeon transferred to Young Dong High School in Seoul to finish his high school years and completed his undergraduate degree at Dankook University where he majored in Business Administration. He later furthered his studies at the prestigious Korea University, enrolling in their Graduate School of International Studies.

When he was 17, Taecyeon participated in an open audition for JYP Entertainment in New York City at his sister’s urging. He was chosen as one of the final 35 and was invited to Korea to continue in the competition. In 2008, he participated in the reality show “Hot Blood Men,” which followed 13 trainees who eventually formed the boy bands 2AM and 2PM. Taecyeon joined 2PM, which debuted in 2008. As the main rapper, he has contributed both songs and rap lyrics to the group’s discography. 2PM took an official hiatus between July 2017 to June 2021 due to the members’ enlistment in their mandatory military service but returned from their hiatus in June 2021 with the release of their 7th studio album. Taecyeon carried out his enlistment from September 4, 2017 to May 16, 2019.

Taecyeon made his acting debut in “Cinderella’s Sister” (2010), a modern twist on the classic ‘Cinderella’ fairy tale. A modern-day college student suddenly finds her soul transported into the body of Cha Sun Chaek (Seohyun), a minor character in her favorite historical fantasy web novel. In her intoxication, Sun Chaek and Yi Beon seem to spend the night together... and the next morning, Yi Beon insists that they get married! Alarmed, Sun Chaek tries to steer Yi Beon back toward Cho Eun Ae (Kwon Han Sol), the original female lead, but Yi Beon remains undeterred, completely changing the novel's plot. Will "Sun Chaek" manage to make it back to her own world and set the story straight – or will she pursue a happy ending with the prince? This series was adapted from the web comic of the same name by Hwang Do Tol.
