While Gu Yi (Shen Yue) works as an average corporate employee by day, she hosts a comedy show at night to nourish her true love of making others laugh. However, she finds herself baffled by audience member Dai Wen (Lin Yi), who never seems to react to her jokes. As she tries to get to know Dai Wen more, she realizes that the problem runs deeper than just differing senses of humor: he suffers from alexithymia, making it difficult for him to process or express any emotions at all, despite his best efforts. Could Gu Yi be the key to unlocking Dai Wen's ability to feel – and might one of those feelings be love? This Chinese drama was adapted from the novel of the same name by Zu Le.
