Despite being an illegitimate child, Yan Xing (Deng En Xi) was trained from a young age by the Chief Inspector of the Ministry of Justice to solve even the toughest criminal cases. However, when her sister escapes an imperial marriage decree to Shen Du (Ding Yu Xi) of the Internal Guard Office, Yan Xing must marry him instead to protect her family.
