Life was once so promising for Asahi Mikuri‎ya (Yamashita Tomohisa), a young man who dreamed of becoming a top photographer. He had the world at his feet, and was dating the woman of his dreams. But in recent times, his world has fallen apart. His dreams of photography fame have faded, leaving him snapping pictures at weddings and taking school photos. And his dream woman has dumped him, leaving him broken-hearted and lonely… One day, he meets a young woman named Natsuki Chiyohara‎ (Karina), a manager at a famous Italian restaurant in Tokyo. She has also been dumped by the love of her life, and decides to take a job at a restaurant in the same seaside town where Asahi lives. The duo bonds over their broken hearts – but could this unexpected connection lead them to new love? “SUMMER NUDE” is a 2013 Japanese drama series that was directed by Yusuke Ishii, Shogo Miyaki, and Hiro Kanai.
