Synopsis
Lying on the northern border of the Daiqi Kingdom, Baicheng has always been a city of great importance. So when it was attacked by the Beiyi, the Kingdom of Daiqi had no choice but to respond in kind. Sadly, the attack on Baicheng was brutal and no one walked away from the battlefield that day, save one: a young woman by the name of Tang Ying.
Having watched her father defend their city from the ruthless Daiqi invaders, Tang Ying’s heart was broken when she realized he would not be returning from the battle. But her heart shattered completely when she realized that his sacrifice for their city had been somehow twisted into treachery. Accused of collaborating with the enemy and branded a traitor, Tang Ying refused to accept her father’s fate and so decided to set things right.
Traveling to the capital city, Tang Ying is determined to clear her father’s name but when she arrives, things take an unexpected turn. Soon tangled in a web of mysteries and secrets, Tang Ying has no choice but to explore the matter further; but the deeper she delves, the more twisted things become. Will she ever find the answers she needs to set things right?
