Su Cheng Cheng (Wu Jia Yi) is a gifted young scientist. Her entire life is ruled by scientific principles, and whenever she comes across something she cannot explain with the rules of physics, chemistry, biology, or math, she wants to investigate. She attends a university where male students outnumber female students by a ratio of seven to one. But when she meets Xiao Yu He (Liu Yi Chang), she is overcome by an unfamiliar emotion.
Xiao Yu He is a fellow student and another scientific prodigy. He is every bit as rigorous about scientific research as Su Cheng Cheng – and perhaps more so! Su Cheng Cheng believes that what she is feeling for Xiao Yu He is love. So the two young academics decide to study Su Cheng Cheng to learn more about the science of love. They study brainwave patterns, heart rate data, and more in a bid to make a breakthrough about love. Will they succeed? Will they be confounded by emotions that simply cannot be measured or studied in the lab? Or could Cupid strike at their hearts... before they can get him under the microscope?
