The Science of Falling in Love

Su Cheng Cheng (Wu Jia Yi), a brilliant young scientist, lives by strict scientific principles at a male-dominated university. When she meets fellow scientific prodigy Xiao Yu He (Liu Yi Chang), she experiences an unfamiliar emotion she believes is love. Together, they decide to scientifically study the phenomenon of love, analyzing brainwave patterns and heart rate data to understand their feelings. As they attempt to dissect love through a scientific lens, they wonder if emotions can truly be measured or if they will unexpectedly fall victim to the very phenomenon they are studying. Based on a manga series by Alfred Yamamoto, this is a 2023 Chinese drama series directed by Hao Fei Huan that explores the intersection of science and romance.
