Assassin Academy

In a kingdom surrounded by malevolent foes, elite-level assassins are the first and best line of defense against invaders. These assassins are trained at a top-secret academy where only the highest-ranking student can graduate each year. While there are plenty of promising young would-be assassins in the academy, none can compare with Han Xiao Chu (Xu Meng Yuan). She is stronger than any of her classmates, has better fighting skills, and can even withstand exposure to certain types of poison! There is just one obstacle standing in her way: a young princeling named Long Bi Xie (Brian Chang). He drags her down by flirting with her, copying her work, and generally bungling about in her presence. When the duo is ordered to carry out their first external mission, they fail, due to the hapless Long Bi Xie. But something strange also happens during the same mission: Han Xiao Chu finds herself back at the academy, where she – and the other students – appear to have lost all their memories of Long Bi Xie. As she tries to investigate what happened, she begins to feel that everything is not quite as it seems at the academy. Long Bi Xie helps her look into the matter...and the duo starts to develop an increasingly close bond. “Assassin Academy” is a 2021 Chinese drama series that was directed by Wu Cheng Feng.
