Synopsis
Sota Nishino (Ryusei Yokohama) is a handsome high school senior. He is close friends with Yukihiro Nanase (Tsuyoshi Furukawa), a boy in his grade, and occasionally comes to visit his friend’s house. Yukihiro Nanase’s innocent and naive younger sister Mai (Matsukaze Risaki) is a high school junior. One day, Sota Nishino and Yukihiro Nanase are talking in the latter’s room, thinking that their conversation is private and can’t be overheard. But the wall between Yukihiro Nanase’s room and his sister Mai’s is deceptively thin – and she overhears her brother’s friend saying he thinks she is pretty.
Inexperienced in all things love-related, Mai is unsure what to do with this information. But little by little, she begins to get to know Sota Nishino better. He too is something of a beginner when it comes to matters of the heart and their interactions are frequently awkward. But as they start to spend more time together, Cupid begins to take aim at their hearts!
This drama was based on a manga series of the same name by Modomu Akagawara that was first serialized in 2015.
“Anitomo” is a 2018 Japanese drama series that was directed by Ryo Nakajima.
