In 2016, he appeared in the survival audition show “Pentagon Maker,” before later going on to make his debut as part of the all-male K-pop group Pentagon. The group released its debut EP in October 2016. He has also made his mark as an actor, appearing in the movie “My Last Love” (2017) and the drama series titles “Phoenix 2020” (2020) and “Blue Birthday” (2021).
