Synopsis
In the year 2030, AI technology has transformed relationships and marriage. Businessman Kenichi Tsumiki (Yuki Kaji) purchases an AI bride named Piple (Ayaka Wilson) after experiencing romantic disappointment. When Piple refuses his advances on their wedding night, Kenichi takes her to her developer, Kaede Miyama (Sakurako Ohara), hoping to resolve the issue. Kaede discovers irreversible setup mistakes, leaving Kenichi frustrated with his unresponsive AI wife. As they settle into domestic life, Kenichi struggles to find the emotional connection and satisfaction he desires. This provocative exploration of human-AI relationships challenges traditional notions of love and companionship.
