Zhu Xuan Wen (Wan Yan Luo Rong), a wealthy and intelligent man, harbors a deep-seated delusion that he is Emperor Jianwen of the Ming Dynasty. Neglecting his real-world responsibilities, he focuses on building an imaginary empire and palace. His family, desperate to help him, hires Luo Kai Huai (Zhuang Da Fei), a mental health professional in need of money, to treat his condition. As Kai Huai becomes part of Xuan Wen's "harem," she struggles to break through his elaborate fantasy and help him reconnect with reality. Their constant clashes and her determination to treat him create a complex and challenging therapeutic relationship. This is a 2020 romantic comedy drama adapted from the novel "My Delusional Boyfriend" by Ye Zi, directed by Liu Han Yang.
