Stand By Me (2021)

In Tang Dynasty China, the Emperor battles powerful eunuchs led by Qiu Shi Liang (He Sheng Ming). After a failed assassination attempt, the eunuchs murder a loyal minister's family, but his twin daughters Cheng Ruo Yun (Zhang Yu Xi) and Qiu Yan Zhi (Xuan Syun Lou) survive. Yan Zhi seeks revenge by joining Qiu Shi Liang's household, while Ruo Yun allies with the young Emperor Li Yan (Cheng Yi), who aims to eliminate the eunuchs' influence. As Ruo Yun and the Emperor grow closer, their budding romance is threatened by her hidden connection to his enemy. Will her true identity destroy their relationship?
