In 1941 Hong Kong, under Japanese occupation, Ye Chong (Allen Ren), a passionate communist, becomes a double agent known as the "Autumn Cicada." Recruited to infiltrate Japanese collaborators, he risks his life to relay critical information to his comrades fighting against the oppressive regime. With the help of sympathetic freedom fighter He Ying (Li Man), Ye Chong navigates a treacherous landscape where Japanese intelligence officers are hunting for the mole in their ranks. As the stakes grow higher and the danger intensifies, Ye Chong must use all his skills to survive and contribute to the resistance.
