Lee Seung Gi is a popular South Korean singer, actor, MC and entertainer. Born on January 13, 1987, he was first scouted by singer Lee Sun Hee and debuted as a singer at the age of 17. Lee Hong Ki (also written as Lee Hong Gi) is a popular South Korean actor and singer who is the lead vocalist for the rock band FT Island. Born on March 2, 1990, he started out in entertainment as a child actor, making his debut in the 2002 television series “Magic Kid Masuri.” He has appeared on many other dramas, including “Modern Farmer” (2014) and “You’re Beautiful” (2009). He made his music debut with FT Island in 2007. In addition to his work with the band, Lee Hong Ki sang “I’m Saying,” the hit main theme song for the popular 2013 drama “Heirs,” starring Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye. Later that year he signed with YG Entertainment and made his debut as both a solo and an actor in 2017. Since then he has appeared in several television dramas including, “Hwayugi” (2017), “Room No. 9” (2018), and “Her Private Life” (2019).

Hwayugi follows the story of Jin Seon Mi (Oh Yeon Seo), who was born with the ability to see spirits. One day, she is asked by a strange man Woo Ma Wang (Cha Seung Won) to retrieve a fan from a haunted house. She is blocked by Son Oh Gong (Lee Seung Gi) who asks her to blow out five candles to free him in exchange for protection. Upon doing so, her memory is erased by Son Oh Gong, who runs away.

Years later, Jin Seon Mi, now running a real estate business specializing in stigmatized properties, bumps into Son Oh Gong, who is trying to do good deeds in order to have his immortal status restored by Heaven. Through radical circumstances, Son Oh Gong is now bound to Jin Seon Mi and must protect her from supernatural forces, or risk his own goals. What fate lies ahead for this odd partnership?
