A Wife's Credentials

Is this the life that you are meant to live? Seo Rae (Kim Hee Ae) is married to Sang Jin (Jang Hyun Sung), a driven reporter for a broadcasting company. Seo Rae has been a dutiful housewife, a humble daughter-in-law to Sang Jin’s parents, and a devoted mother to her son, Gyul (Lim Je No), who until recently has been a sickly child. But there is something that is missing from Seo Rae’s life. She doesn’t agree with Sang Jin’s push to get the best private education for Gyul but reluctantly agrees to move to a better neighborhood to further Gyul’s education. On her first day in their new neighborhood, a thief steals Seo Rae’s bicycle from outside a café. Tae Oh (Lee Sung Jae) sees the fleeing thief and rescues Seo Rae’s bike. When Seo Rae learns that Tae Oh is her son’s new dentist, will this stranger change her life in ways she didn’t expect on her own personal road to self-discovery? “A Wife’s Credentials” is a 2012 South Korean drama series directed by An Pan Seok.
