Eugene is the stage name of Kim Yoo Jin, a popular South Korean singer and actress. Born on March 3, 1981, she began her career as a part of the idol girl group S.E.S., which was active from 1997 to 2002 and was considered the first successful K-pop girl group. After the group disbanded in 2002, Eugene released two solo albums and has enjoyed a successful acting career. Eugene made her acting debut in the 2002 television series “Loving You.” She has since starred in many popular films and television dramas, including the recent “A Hundred Years’ Inheritance” (2013), “Can We Love?” (2014) and “All About My Mom” (2015).
