Xia You Qian (Jasper Liu), a successful private equity head with exceptional observational skills, encounters An Xi (Mandy Wei), the woman responsible for a near-fatal incident in his past during a village competition. Despite his initial prejudice causing her to lose the contest, An Xi desperately needs the prize money to save her inherited, debt-ridden hostel. As tensions rise and her financial situation becomes dire, she faces the possibility of marrying her creditor to settle her debts.
