Kim Sang Kyung is a South Korean actor. Born on June 1, 1972, he debuted as an actor in 1998 in the film “If the Sun Rises in the West” and in the television drama “Love and Success.” He has starred in many popular films and dramas since, including the films “Memories of Murder” (2003) and “May 18” (2007) and the dramas “King Sejong the Great” (2008), “Secret Agent Miss Oh” (2010), “White Christmas” (2011) and “What Happens to My Family?” (2014). Two of his Hong Sang Soo-directed films were screened at the Cannes Film Festival.

He broke into acting with minor roles starting in 2010 but gained recognition for his supportive role in the hugely successful television drama “Heirs” in 2013. He then starred in a main role in the award-winning drama “What Happens to My Family” in 2014, “High Society” (2015), “Hwarang” (2016-2017) and “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” (2017).

She then starred in the music video for Kim Hyun Chul’s song “One’s Lifetime” in 1996. She made her acting debut a year later in the television drama “The Reason I Live.” Kim Hyun Joo started to get leading roles immediately in films and other television dramas.
