Ricky Kim is the stage name of Ricky Lee Neely, an American model and actor who is active in South Korea. He was born on June 19, 1981, in a small town in Kansas to a Korean mother and an American father and grew up in Kansas and Hawaii. After studying at Kansas State University, Ricky went to Korea in 2005 to do volunteer work and teach English. After traveling the world for a few months, Ricky returned to Korea later that year to pursue a career in entertainment. He made his acting debut in the 2006 four-episode television series “Miracle.” He has since appeared in many popular dramas, including “Jejungwon” (2010), “I Need Romance” (2011), “The Queen’s Classroom” (2013) and “Cunning Single Lady” (2014), and in television variety shows such as “Let’s Go Dream Team! Season 2” (2009-2016), “Law of the Jungle” (2011-2013) and “Oh! My Baby” (2014). Ricky married Korean musical theater actress Ryu Seung Joo in 2009, and they have three children.
