Under the Light

After an alarming bus hijacking and bombing, Public Security Bureau officer Su Jian Ming (Lei Jia Yin) begins to investigate the case with fellow officer Li Hui Lin (Zhou Dong Yu), suspecting that there's more to the incident than it appears. However, unbeknownst to him, Jian Ming's adoptive father, Deputy Mayor Zheng Gang (Zhang Guo Li), is deeply enmeshed in a covert alliance with influential businessman Lai Zhi Tian (Yu He Wei), who wields unchecked power across political and business realms. As Jian Ming's investigation grows closer to the truth, Zheng Gang scrambles to protect himself, causing cracks to form in previously strong alliances and unleashing unintended consequences.
