Synopsis
Tung (Shawn Yue), a former banker struggling with bipolar disorder, has just been picked up from a psychiatric hospital by his father, truck driver Wong Tai Hoi (Eric Tsang). However, this isn't a heartwarming reunion: Tung was admitted to the hospital after accidentally killing his pain-stricken, resentful mother, and Tai Hoi was absent for most of Tung's life due to his job. Forced to share the cramped quarters of Tai Hoi's Hong Kong apartment, tensions run high between father and son as they struggle with feelings of resentment and guilt. Can Tung and Tai Hoi find a way to reconcile and forgive each other, even as society holds stigmas against them? This award-winning 2016 Hong Kong film was directed by Wong Chun.
