Hwang Jung Min is a South Korean actor who was born on September 1, 1970, in South Gyeongsang Province. He started out as a musical actor, making his debut in a stage play production of “Line 1” in 1995. He later transitioned to movie acting and appeared in a number of box office smash hits, such as “New World” (2013), “Ode to My Father (2014),” and “Veteran” (2015).

In 1975, Youn Yuh Jung married singer Jo Young Nam and immigrated to the United States before returning in 1984 to resume her acting career. They divorced in 1987.
