Immortal Vampire

Yu Ri (Wang Ji Won) is a woman who appears to be in her twenties – but actually conceals a very dark secret. She was bitten by a vampire in 1866, and has since become a vampire herself. Vampires do not age, as long as they do not drink contaminated blood, that is. If they do, they develop a condition named Vampire Immunodeficiency Syndrome (VIDS), which causes them to age. Yu Ri, however, has rare antibodies that allow her to avoid developing VIDS. Another female vampire, Soo Jung (Lee Joo Yeon), is trying to chase Yu Ri down. The former plans to can steal antibodies from Yu Ri and gain eternal youth herself. But this struggle between immortals takes a turn when Yu Ri saves a mortal man named Min Jun (Jae Hee). The latter is a film director who has landed in trouble with loan sharks. He starts to develop feelings for Yu Ri – but could romance really bloom between a deathless vampire and a mortal man? And what will happen when Soo Jung attempts to intervene? “Immortal Vampire” is a 2022 South Korean movie that was directed by Kim Hong Ik.
