Angelababy, also known as Yeung Wing or Yang Ying, is a Chinese model, actress, and singer based in Hong Kong. She was born on February 28, 1989, in Shanghai, China, and moved to Hong Kong at the age of thirteen to pursue her modeling career. She made her acting debut in 2007, focusing mostly on film until 2014 when she joined the cast of “Keep Running”, the Chinese spin-off of the original Korean variety show, “Running Man”. In 2015, she made her first appearance in a television drama. Since then she has taken on various roles, from supporting characters to leads in both dramas and films including, “Young Detective Dee: Rise of the Sea Dragon” (2013), “General and I” (2017), “Entrepreneurial Age” (2018), “Love the Way You Are” (2022), and “Divine Destiny” (2023).

Yuan Xiao Chao is a gold medal-winning wushu practitioner and actor who was born in Heze, Shandong Province, China, on August 7, 1988. He took up the martial art of wushu in 1998 and won bronze in the 2005 East Asian Games, before winning the World Championships in 2005 and again in 2007. He also won gold at the Asian Games in Doha in 2006 and again in Guangzhou in 2010, after which he retired from competition. He took up acting in the 2010s, when he starred in the movies “Tai Chi Zero” and the sequel “Tai Chi Hero” (both 2012).

Eddie Peng is an actor and singer. Born on March 24, 1982, in Taiwan, he is of Hakka Chinese heritage. He also is known as Peng Yu Yen. Eddie Peng immigrated to Canada at the age of 13 and graduated from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School in Vancouver and then attended the University of British Columbia as an economics major. He was discovered when he returned to Taiwan to attend his grandmother’s funeral and decided to discontinue his studies to pursue acting. He made his acting debut in the 2002 television series “Tomorrow.” He has since starred in many films and television dramas, including “Honey and Clover” (2008), “The Concerto” (2009), “My Sassy Girl” (2010) and “Sound of the Desert” (2014).

When Fang Zi Jing returns with a powerful military force, the village faces potential destruction. Yang Lu Chan and Chen Yu Niang must now unite to protect their home from imminent danger. This film is the sequel to "Tai Chi Zero," featuring many of the same characters and actors. "Tai Chi Hero" is a 2012 Chinese martial arts movie directed by Stephen Fung.
