Show Me the Ghost

Ho Doo (Kim Hyun Mok) and Ye Ji (Han Seung Yeon) are childhood friends who are down on their luck. Ho Doo has been working day and night in a part-time job in a convenience store, trying desperately to raise enough money to afford a place of his own. Ye Ji, meanwhile, has been trying to land a dream job, but keeps failing at the interview stage. One day, Ye Ji comes to Ho Doo to explain how another interview has gone disastrously wrong for her – but he surprises her by telling her that he has rented an amazing house for them. He has used some of Ye Ji’s money to cover the deposit, but she eventually agrees to move into the new place. At first, everything seems to be going great, although Ye Ji thinks the deposit price and the monthly rent seem suspiciously low. It’s as if the offer is too good to be true, she thinks. Unfortunately, she’s right. They soon notice an unusual smell in the house and the lights start flickering on and off – before coming across a ghost! They have no money to hire an exorcist, so decide to try to banish the ghost themselves using “tips” they find on the internet. When that doesn’t work, they decide to seek the services of Ki Doo (Hong Seung Bum), an exorcist who is offering cut-price ghost-busting services for a limited time only… “Show Me the Ghost” is a 2021 South Korean movie that was directed by Kim Eun Kyung.
