Resumen

Stranded on a mountain road after his car breaks down, journalist Wang Yi Chi (Cash Chuang) has the misfortune of witnessing a hit-and-run accident that instantly claims one man’s life and leaves a woman comatose. Horror-stricken by what he’s just witnessed, Yi Chi takes a few quick pictures of the hit-and-run vehicle’s license plate but the photos are deemed too blurry to be used as evidence in the case. With no way to establish, with any certainty, who the perpetrator is, the case is dismissed. Now, nine years later, Yi Chi finds himself unexpectedly linked to that fatal accident, when he discovers that the used car he’s been driving is actually the same car involved in that very same accident all those years ago. As if that weren’t a strange enough coincidence, it would seem that the sole survivor of the accident has suddenly disappeared. With his journalistic hunch growing stronger by the minute, Yi Chi sets out to uncover the truth behind this long-forgotten case. But sometimes uncovering the truth can bring with it some rather dire consequences. As he digs deeper into the events surrounding the accident, Yi Chi begins to uncover a string of dark truths that may very well haunt him for the rest of his life. As stylish as it is mysterious, “Who Killed Cock Robin” is a 2017 neo-noir crime thriller film written and directed by Cheng Wei Hao.
