Jae Min vows that he will take his revenge, and decides to fight fire with fire. He puts all of his energy into developing extraordinary “white hat” – benevolent – hacking skills. Years later, now at university Jae Min is still honing his abilities when he is noticed by Cho Hye Soo (Cho Hyun Young), the leader of Better World, a clandestine group of “white hat” hackers that is secretly based at Jae Min’s university. Cho Hye Soo and her associates try to convince him to join in an attempt to foil cybercriminals. And soon, a worthy foe emerges: a small group of highly trained hackers called Youknowwhat. This group of crooks has targetted a huge cryptocurrency trading platform named Songdo International Exchange. Part one of their terror raid involves sending the exchange’s customers text messages that tell them their funds have been compromised. To add to the tension, Joo Hee (Lim Na Young), one of Jae Min’s childhood friends, is also in a tight spot: Her father has become caught up in what appears to be a cryptocurrency scam that could bring havoc to her entire family. Jae Min resolves to help...but can his quick-thinking skills save the day as Youknowwhat starts to intensify its devious hacking efforts? “Twenty Hacker” is a 2021 South Korean thriller movie that was directed by Han Hyun Seok.
