All of Them Are Troublesome Girls

A Japanese language teacher at a local high school, Kunihiko Kunitachi (Kensho Ono) has dealt with his fair share of troublesome teenagers. No stranger to the sometimes strained relationships between teacher and student, Kunihiko has learned how to handle students of all sorts. But all of his knowledge and experience counts for naught, the day he crosses paths with Kazumi Kazumiya (Arisa Komiya). A perpetual loner, Kazumi doesn’t seem to have a single friend at school. Feeling sorry for his friendless student, Kunihiko suggests she put in a little more effort when it comes to making friends. Instead of taking her teacher up on his advice, Kazumi counters with a suggestion that Kunihiko be her friend. Shocked by the odd request, Kunihiko agrees to be Kazumi’s friend but soon regrets his decision, as she seems to believe being friends means never leaving his side. Desperate to push Kazumi away, Kunihiko attempts to make friends on her behalf, but every attempt he makes ends in utter disaster. With life becoming more complicated by the second, will Kunihiko ever find a way to free himself from an ever-growing group of troublesome girls? Based on the manga of the same name by Tobi, “All of Them Are Troublesome Girls” is a 2019 romantic comedy film directed by Tadaaki Horai.
