Guia in Love

Growing up together, Chan Ka Sing (Vincent Wan Yeung Ming), Choi Kai Kwong (Wilson Lam), and Lee Yuk Lan were the best of friends. Nearly inseparable, they spent every free moment they had together, their carefree childhood days spent laughing and playing at the town’s old lighthouse. But as the friends grew, their relationship took a difficult turn, as both Ka Sing and Kai Kwong found themselves falling in love with Yuk Lan.  Forty-five years later, the former friends find themselves reunited after the passing of their beloved Yuk Lan. While they must decide where they’ll go from here, Kai Kwong’s daughter, Debbie (Stephy Tang) must unravel the mysteries of her own heart, after she falls for Wah (Wong You Nam), a dealer who works at her father’s casino. While Wah struggles to understand his own heart his friend, Uncle Kin (BabyJohn Choi) admits he’s afraid his heart will break if his girlfriend, Phillis (Vivian Chan), moves to Japan to further her singing career. Meanwhile, Ka Sing’s son, Chan Keung (Wilfred Lau), finds himself wondering if his heart, which had broken after the passing of his daughter, will ever be whole again. An answer slowly begins to present itself, after he meets his young son’s teacher, Miss Lai (Annie Liu).  As the winding string of fate connects the hearts and lives of those Yuk Lan left behind, old friends are reunited and new flames are ignited, proving that anything is possible when it comes to love. “Guia in Love” is a 2015 romance anthology film directed by Leung Dak Sam.
