In 2008, during South Korea's first criminal trial by jury, an apparently straightforward murder case becomes complex when Kwon Nam Woo (Park Hyung Sik), a young entrepreneur, challenges the defendant's confession. Judge Kim Joon Gyum (Moon So Ri) must re-examine the evidence after the jury fails to reach a unanimous verdict. Refusing to conform to the majority opinion, Nam Woo independently investigates the case, meticulously reviewing investigation records and questioning the defendant's guilt. As he uncovers compelling evidence, other jurors gradually join his pursuit of truth, challenging the initial assumptions and working to establish a standard of genuine justice.
