In a world a century after a devastating war between the Ice and Fire Tribes, Prince Ka Suo (Feng Shao Feng) reluctantly becomes king of the dwindling Ice Tribe, despite yearning to be with his forbidden love, Li Luo (Victoria Song), a powerful sorceress of common birth. His ambitious half-brother Kong Shi (Ma Tian Yu) plots to seize the throne, while Yan Da (Zhang Meng), the Fire Tribe's royal daughter, supports Kong Shi's ambitions. When both Kong Shi and Li Luo mysteriously disappear, Ka Suo must defend his vulnerable kingdom from the looming threat of another tribal conflict. This is a 2016 Chinese fantasy drama directed by Ju Jue Liang, based on the novel City of Fantasy by Guo Jing Ming.
