As the years pass, Hai Shi struggles with growing feelings for Fang Zhu, who cannot reciprocate due to his duty to Da Zheng and the Emperor. Torn between personal emotions and her people's suffering, Hai Shi must ultimately choose her path as she navigates her dual identity. Adapted from the novel by Xiao Ru Se, this is a 2021 Chinese fantasy romance drama directed by Yu Bo and Jin Sha.
