In the treacherous waters between the Philippines and Busan, the container ship Frontier Titan becomes a floating prison transporting dangerous criminals, including the tattooed Jong Doo (Seo In Guk). Led by Seok Woo (Park Ho San), a team of police officers struggles to maintain control of the volatile prisoners. When the criminals stage a violent breakout and attempt to take over the ship, they unleash chaos and bloodshed.
