Noh Z U

Hong Hwa (Seo Hyo Rim) lives a tedious and miserable existence, working day and night to pay for her father's medical bills. In search of another way to make money, Hong Hwa participates in a paid drug trial that leaves her with the ability to enter and control other people's dreams. One day, she travels into her friend Ji Eun's (Noh Z U) dream – only to find that Ji Eun has been kidnapped by a serial killer, Jae In (Oh Ji Ho), who shares Hong Hwa's dreamwalking abilities. Jae In taunts Hong Hwa, asking if she's ever wanted to kill someone. She hasn't... but her life is so depressing that the urge soon becomes tempting. With Ji Eun's life on the line and a detective closing in, Hong Hwa must decide if remaining "human" is worth all of the suffering she's endured, or if she should give into temptation and become a "monster." This 2023 Korean film was directed by Shin Jae Ho.
