Mak Pui Tung

In Hong Kong, Henry Cheung (Alan Yeung) and his friend Angus Tong (Mak Pui Tung) stand trial for the brutal murder of Henry’s parents. Veteran lawyers Wilson Ng (Jan Lamb) and Carrie Yau (Louisa So) are brought on to defend their case as the pair of friends adamantly deny the murder charges brought against them. During the court proceedings, prosecutor Allen Chu (Michael Chow) does everything he can to uncover the truth, which brings a number of even deeper mysteries surrounding the case to light. With the truth becoming increasingly more ambiguous, will the jurors be able to decide whether the defendants are guilty or innocent? Adapted from real-life events, this 2022 Hong Kong legal crime thriller film was directed by Ho Cheuk Tin.
