Kim Taek is an up-and-coming South Korean actor who was born on December 26, 1998. He appeared in the dramas “The King’s Affection” (2021) and “Chunhwa Love Story” in 2024, as well as the 2023 movie “Rebound.”

Kang Yang Hyun (Ahn Jae Hong) was once a promising high school basketball player. Life has taken him in another direction, but his love for basketball has never deserted him. When the chance to coach the basketball team at Busan Jungang High School, his alma mater, comes up, he seizes it with both hands. But the task he has taken on is monumental. A school in Seoul keeps poaching the team’s best players. The team’s budget has been slashed. And players revolt at the appointment of such an inexperienced coach.

Undeterred, Kang Yang Hyun tries to round up as many players as he can – eventually mustering a group of just six, led by captain Cheon Ki Beom (Lee Sin Young). Most of this group suffers from a range of different problem, and more player losses rock the unit once more. But eventually, Kang Yang Hyun cobbles together a new team – bound for the 2012 national tournament. With just six players and a grueling schedule of games in store, the Busan Jungang High School team is the ultimate underdog. But Coach Kang won’t say die until the final buzzer is sounded – and neither will his team!
