Rainbow Xu

Everyone loves genius high schooler Zhou Si Yue (Chen Zhe Yuan). Everyone, that is, except his headstrong classmate Ding Xian (Xu Meng Jie). But when both are late for school on the first day of the semester, they are left with no choice but to share a desk. They quickly begin trying to get on one another’s nerves. But these plans backfire, and a begrudging mutual respect begins to emerge instead. As they graduate and head to the same university, could this respect transform into romance? Or will the pressures of adulthood put an end to fledgling love? Based on the novel “Secrets in the Lattice” by Er Dong Tu Zi, this 2021 Chinese drama series was directed by Zhang Xiao An.
