When the human queen gives birth to twins Qing Kui (He Xuan Lin) and Ye Tan (Landy Li), they become admired princesses. Qing Kui is destined to marry heavenly prince Xuan Shang Jun (Chen Xing Xu), while Ye Tan is to wed demon prince Chao Feng (Luke Chen). On the way to their weddings, their palanquins are mixed up, leading to mismatched marriages. Though mismatched, romance begins to blossom between the couples.
