Hanae Kan, also known as Han Young Hye, is a South Korean-Japanese actress who was born on November 7, 1990, in Mishima, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. She attended Nihon University Mishima High School, but made her debut at the age of 10 in the film “Pistol Opera” (2001). She has since gone on to star in scores of movies and drama titles, including the film “Their Distance” in 2016 and the more recent “One Night” (2019).

Leon (Ren), a guilt-ridden shoe repair worker, blames himself for a past accident that left a man paralyzed. He lives a monotonous life, working with Kokaze (Fumiko Aoyagi), who harbors feelings for him. During his daily lunch routine, Leon encounters Suna (Hanae Kan), a young woman sleeping off a drinking session in the park. When she breaks her shoe heel, she visits Leon's shop for repairs. This chance meeting sets off a series of unexpected events that might potentially change Leon's life of sadness and isolation. Could this encounter lead him towards healing or even love? "Their Distance" is a 2016 Japanese movie that was directed by Imaizumi Rikiya.
