Nakajima Ayumu is a Japanese actor who was born on October 7, 1988, in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Koishikawa High School, later going on to study at the Nihon University College of Art’s Department of Literature. He debuted in 2013, when he starred in the film “Zentai.” He has since gone on to appear in the movies “Good Stripes” (2015) and “Gone Wednesday” (2020).

Kashiwagi Kokoro (Ouji Suzuka) is a university student who has just started dating his new girlfriend Kamijo Sayo (Momoko Tanabe). Their time together is filled with joy, and they are both optimistic about their future. But this is all thrown into doubt when Kashiwagi Kokoro’s ex-girlfriend Omori Ringo (Sakurako Konishi) turns up at his house – and starts living with him.

Omori Ringo left Kashiwagi Kokoro some time ago, starting a new relationship with an aggressive secondhand clothing store manager. She appears to have nowhere else to turn, so Kashiwagi Kokoro lets her stay – although he chooses to keep this a secret from Kamijo Sayo. But what will happen when Kamijo Sayo learns the truth about her boyfriend’s new “housemate?”

This drama was based on a manga series of the same name by Tamaizumi.

Fight the Crazy Ex

All her life, Aiko Maeda (Rena Matsui) has suffered from low self-esteem. Born with a large and very visible birthmark on her face, Aiko has spent her entire life trying to hide from other people. Even now, as a graduate student, she continues to shy away from others rather than embrace the opportunity to make friends and find love.

Despite her tendency to shy away from social situations, Aiko agrees to an interview with an author writing a book about facial scars and birthmarks. When the book takes off, Aiko is pleasantly surprised, but that joy leads to uncertainty when she learns the book is being adapted into a film, and the director, Shota Tobisaka (Ayumu Nakajima), wants to cinematize her story. Agreeing to work with the Shota, Aiko soon finds herself in unfamiliar territory when she realizes the handsome director completely accepts her for who she is.

Entirely unfamiliar with love, Aiko finds herself unable to stop herself from falling for the amiable Shota. Will these new feelings of hers be reciprocated or will her first real crush end in heartache?

Adapted from Naoki Prize-winning author Rio Shimamoto’s romantic novel, “The Nighthawk’s First Love” is a 2022 Japanese film directed by Yuka Yasukawa.

Kazuma Saito (Tomoya Nakamura) is a young man whose life was changed forever after he was involved in a traffic accident at elementary school. He has developed seven totally distinct personalities named after each day of the week. None of these personalities has any recollection of what the other did, and none can communicate with one another – save via sticky notes and a journal. While one is a fast-living rock band member with a penchant for alcohol, women, and cigarettes, the next is a shy, clean-living young man. Another is a budding sports enthusiast...and so on. The personalities are so different that they have their own shoes, toothbrushes, clothes, and desks.

But life gets complicated for all of them when one of their number – Wednesday – suddenly goes missing. Who will fill in for Wednesday? Will the role fall to Tuesday? Can there be a week without a Wednesday? The remaining personalities try to answer these questions and fix the problem before it threatens to consume them all. Tuesday looks into solutions that include an experimental surgery that could put an end to these problems once and for all – but is this risk really worth taking?
