Sarita Choudhury is a British actress who was born on August 18, 1966, in London. She debuted in the 1991 movie “Mississippi Masala” and in 1995 starred in the TV movie “Down Came a Blackbird.” She went on to appear in the Hollywood films “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” 2014 and the sequel “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2” the following year. In 2021, she appeared in the movies “The Green Knight” and “After Yang.”

Jake Fleming (Colin Farrell) and his wife Kyra (Jodie Turner-Smith) live with their adoptive child Mika (Malea Emma Tjandrawidjaja). They want to have a second child, but are unable to do so – so instead purchases an android “brother” for Mika – a “second-hand” model named Yang (Justin H. Min). However, rather than buying from an official producer, they buy from a reseller, and, finally, Yang stops functioning.

Jake decides to try to fix Yang, but is frustrated in his efforts. Eventually, he finds an engineer who tries to repair Yang – but claims to have found a hidden camera inside the android. However, this device appears not to be quite what it first seemed – and instead turns out to be the key to Yang’s “memories.” What will happen when Jake starts to explore the life Yang lived before he became the Flemings’ son? And will their robot “child” ever come back to life – and rejoin the family?

“After Yang” is a 2021 American film that was written and directed by Kogonada.
