Yang Qi Jun is a Chinese actress who was born in Huaihua, Hunan Province, China. She graduated from the Minzu University of China. She made her drama acting debut in 2015 and has since gone on to star in a range of hit drama titles including “Half Bright and Half Rain” (2019) and “The Detective” (2021). Her movie credits include the 2019 film “Triple Threat.”

Qian Xun (Yang Fu Yu) is an intern at a newspaper. She has recently graduated, but is determined to land a scoop and make her name in the media industry. She plans to do this by investigating and publishing details of a murder – and wants to sneak into the crime scene with a friend so she can learn more. But while she is doing so, the duo runs into trouble when one falls off a rooftop, which leads her to meet the crafts specialist Su Ming Mou (Lin Shi Jie). She also meets Jun Wang Lian (Zhao Cheng Yu), a jade spirit and Su Ming Mou’s companion.

Later, Qian Xun learns that a number of other incidents – all seemingly linked to traditional craft items – have been taking place. Eventually, her path and that of Su Ming Mou cross again. She starts to realize that in some way, these craft works appear to animate and even become human. As she investigates further, she begins to understand that her fate appears to be linked with this mysterious world – and that her journey into this strange universe could lead her to love...

This drama series was based on a novel named “Monsters’ Monster Shop,” which was written by Shen Muchan.
