Tian Lei is a Chinese actor who was born on March 28, 1986, in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China. He graduated from the Central Academy of Drama’s Performance Department and made his debut in the 2008 drama series “Strange Interlude.” He has since gone on to appear in drama titles such as 2015’s “Mr. Right,” “Mad About You” (2016), and “I Will Find You a Better Home” (2020) – as well as the 2021 movie “No Root No Fruit.”

In the late Song Dynasty, the Yang and Guo families made a pledge that their future children will become sworn siblings or marry if of different genders. However, before they could fulfill their pact, both families were tragically killed by the invading Jin army. Orphaned by the war, Guo Jing (Ci Sha) and Yang Kang (Wang Hong Yi) were raised by different martial arts masters with the goal of avenging their families' deaths. While Guo Jing follows the path of honor, Yang Kang betrays his family by siding with the Jin army. Accompanied by the adventurous Huang Rong (Bao Shang En), Guo Jing eventually encounters Yang Kang, but their once-promised brotherhood has turned into hate. Xu Wen Chang (Luo Jin) is the permanently laid-back, calm, and generous manager of a Shanghai-based branch of a large real estate chain. The executives at the head office are dissatisfied with the poor sales conversions rate at the branch and suspect that Xu Wen Chang might be at fault. So they decide to take action by sending in Fang Si Jin (Sun Li) to solve the problems be becoming the branch’s co-manager. She is Xu Wen Chang’s polar opposite: an ice-cold, ruthless, ambitious, and results-driven manager.

While Xu Wen Chang always puts the needs of his staff first, and they adore him for this approach. These wildly different outlooks cause conflicts right from the outset, but surprisingly over time, they start to drift toward a shared vision – one that the whole branch starts to get behind. But as they start to spend more time together, these very contrasting managers start to wonder if they might also have romantic feelings for each other, despite their plethora of differences!

This drama is a remake of the 2016 Japanese series “Your Home Is My Business.”
