Jin You Mei is a Korean-Chinese actress who was born in Jinzhou, Liaoning Province, China, on November 15, 1996. She graduated from Beijing Film Academy and made her acting debut in the movie release “Mr. Six” in December 2015. She followed up with her drama bow in the romantic comedy series “Hello, Mr. Right” in 2016 and in 2020 appeared in the film “Double-faced Fox.”

As a ten thousand year old immortal, Bo Yan (Cao Yu Chen) should have had plenty of experience keeping the affairs of the mortals under his care in check. During the Yunsheng Dynasty, an ailing Emperor orders Princess Sheng Ning (Jin You Mei) to marry General Bai Yi (Wen Zhou) against her wishes. She loves a noble Prince, but the Emperor insists that the marriage he ordered goes ahead. The Princess attempts to escape and run away with the Prince. But her efforts come to naught when the General captures her. She threatens to kill herself if the General does not let her be, so he agrees to sleep in a separate bedroom – although her cousin Bei Jin (Wen Meng Yang) seems intent on seducing him. A man of honor, he is intent on staying true to his wife. He also discovers that the Emperor, who has since died, lost his life in mysterious circumstances.

But then powerful demons step onto the scene, intent on wreaking havoc on the realm. One is a fearsome fox spirit who succeeds in possessing the body of one of the young women. But soon, the Princess finds herself in mortal danger – with only Bai Yi able to save her from a terrible fate!

“Double-Faced Fox” is a 2020 Chinese movie that was directed by Wen Zhou.
