Shuri Tanaka is a Japanese singer and actress. She was born on December 14, 1998, in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan, and made her acting debut in 2017. Since then, she has appeared in a variety of television dramas, including “O Maidens in Your Savage Season” (2020).

Friends since childhood, Kazusa Onodera (Anna Yamada) and Momoko Sudo (Mei Hata) have grown up together, sharing every moment of their lives with each other. Now in high school, the two girls decide it’s time to branch out and try something new. Drawn to the school’s literature club, the girls agree to join, not knowing that in doing so, their lives would take some interesting and unexpected turns.

As president of the club, Rika Sonezaki (Mayuu Yokota) welcomes the members, both old and new, including Kazusa’s new friend, Niina Sugawara (Tina Tamashiro) and Hitoha Hongo (Shuri Tanaka), the club’s resident aspiring novelist. Suggesting they do a little ice breaker, to get to know each other, the girls are asked a simple question: “What’s one thing you want to do before you die?” With answers that both shock and embarrass, the girls instantly begin to bond.&nbsp;

Despite their differences, the five girls form an unexpected friendship. Side-by-side they navigate the tricky waters of high school, taking their first clumsy and sometimes painful steps towards adulthood, together.

Based on the manga series of the same name, written by Mari Okada, “O Maidens in Your Savage Season” is a 2020 romantic high school drama directed by Mai Sakai, Aya Igashi, and Keita Mizunami.
