Mayuu Yokota is a Japanese model and actress. She was born on June 30, 1999, in Tokyo, Japan, and made her acting debut in 2018. Since then, she has appeared in various films and television dramas, including “O Maidens in Your Savage Season” (2020).

A Japanese high school is rocked by the arrival of an enigmatic, charismatic, and highly mysterious transfer student named Mishima Zero (Michieda Shunsuke). This white-haired 19-year-old begins telling classmates that he wants to bring down the current world order – created and run by adults – and build a new future. He asks them to join his cause, and help put an end to the world they know.

Many of the school’s more disgruntled, depressed, and rebellious students begin to flock to Mishima Zero’s cause – some of them seemingly falling under his charismatic spell. They create a group called Mars, as they begin on their destructive quest. Teachers and some students, however, are less keen on Mars’ talk of revolution. Mars finds itself on a collision course with those unaligned with its values – but who will prevail?

Frank, guileless, and full of quirks, Hayashi has a knack for quietly drawing the attention of classmates and strangers alike. While Hayashi embraces the lighter side of life and draws others toward that light, Nikaidou Akira (Fumiya Takahashi) does exactly the opposite. Exuding nothing but doom and gloom, Nikaidou has worked hard to build up his dark façade, knowing full well that it’s the best method for keeping others away. While nearly everyone around Nikaidou believes him to be a bad omen, there’s one person who isn’t so sure. Having once caught a glimpse of the boy behind the mask, this person is determined to find that boy once more and bring him into the light.

Living two entirely different lives, Hayashi and Nikaidou may not seem to have much in common, but deep down, could they be more alike than they realize?

Friends since childhood, Kazusa Onodera (Anna Yamada) and Momoko Sudo (Mei Hata) have grown up together, sharing every moment of their lives with each other. Now in high school, the two girls decide it’s time to branch out and try something new. Drawn to the school’s literature club, the girls agree to join, not knowing that in doing so, their lives would take some interesting and unexpected turns.

As president of the club, Rika Sonezaki (Mayuu Yokota) welcomes the members, both old and new, including Kazusa’s new friend, Niina Sugawara (Tina Tamashiro) and Hitoha Hongo (Shuri Tanaka), the club’s resident aspiring novelist. Suggesting they do a little ice breaker, to get to know each other, the girls are asked a simple question: “What’s one thing you want to do before you die?” With answers that both shock and embarrass, the girls instantly begin to bond.&nbsp;

Despite their differences, the five girls form an unexpected friendship. Side-by-side they navigate the tricky waters of high school, taking their first clumsy and sometimes painful steps towards adulthood, together.

Based on the manga series of the same name, written by Mari Okada, “O Maidens in Your Savage Season” is a 2020 romantic high school drama directed by Mai Sakai, Aya Igashi, and Keita Mizunami.
