Tsai Hsuan Yen, or Tsai Ken Yen, as she’s also known, is a Taiwanese actress. She was born on November 20, 1987 and made her acting debut in 2007, taking her first role in a theater production. In 2014, she made her film debut and has appeared in a variety of films since, including “Sen Sen” (2017).

After the passing of his older brother, Sen (Wu Zhi Xuan) struggles to find ways to cope. With his mother constantly working, Sen has no one to talk to and nothing to do. Alone and grieving, Sen takes to the streets, spending his time riding his bike aimlessly around the neighborhood, hanging out at a local comic shop, and occasionally scrolling through his late brother’s phone, all in a desperate attempt to outrun the pain that constantly threatens to overwhelm him.&nbsp;

One day, while scrolling through his brother’s phone, Sen comes across a livestream his brother seemed to have enjoyed. Surprised to see his big brother had taken an interest in the streams of an elderly woman known simply as Granny (Nina Paw), Sen’s curiosity is piqued. It doesn’t take Sen long to figure out why his brother was so intrigued. A taxi driver suffering from stage four lung cancer, Granny has decided to spend her last few months on Earth living her life to the fullest. Understanding Granny’s personal struggles with death, Sen feels a strong connection with the elderly woman and reaches out to her.&nbsp;

Forming an unlikely friendship, Sen and Granny find the strength to face both life, and the solemn realities of death, head-on.&nbsp;
